Since 1892, Wilton Armetale has constructed unique serving pieces in silver and pewter, gracefully combining beauty and durability. Individually handcrafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, no two pieces are exactly alike. Non-toxic metal ensures the safety of all food items, and effectively keeps a side dish or main course at the desired temperature. Modeled on a candlestick base designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in 1821, the Wilton Armetale flutes and pearls design is reminiscent of an earlier era. Graceful flutes give depth to the highly polished gravy boat tray, while sculpted beads resembling pearls trim the outer edge. A smooth design, with no decorative elements, gives the gravy boat a sophisticated simplicity and allows it to be used with other Wilton Armetale patterns. The tray measures 6-1/4 by 9-1/4 inches, while the gravy boat measures 8 inches from handle to spout, 3-3/4 inches wide, and stands 4-inches high.
